Warm fall recipes are really what makes the season! Once fall hits its apple season and boy do I love cooking with them! These Apple Pie Puffs are the perfect size treat when you don’t feel like making a whole pie but still want something seasonal and delicious.
LET’S GO SHOPPING FOR INGREDIENTS!
Crescent Rolls will be the base of the recipe. I use the Great Value ones HERE but choose whichever brand you prefer.
Granny Smith Apple’s are one of the best apples for apple pie and it translates to these as well. You could also try Honey Crisp or your favorite!
Unsalted Butter
Spice Mix is really what makes these even tastier! The mix of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice is a fall classic!
TIPS FOR BAKING APPLE PIE PUFFS:
Using a brush will make it much easier to spread butter opposed to a spoon or another tool
Be sure to tuck the edges of the crescent roll in when you finish rolling the apple in
Be sure to check puffs to make sure they do not over brown on top
Optional: add a frosting drizzle for extra sweetness

Apple Pie Puffs
Ingredients
- 1 Package Crescent Rolls
- 1 Granny Smith Apple
- 3 Tbsp Melted Butter Unsalted
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
- 1/3 Tsp Allspice
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Chop up apple into 8 slices, drizzle half of the melted butter onto apples
- Roll out crescent roll and brush butter onto roll
- Sprinkle spice seasoning onto buttered crescent roll
- Put apple slice on thick side of crescent roll
- Roll to close, tuck side edges in
- Brush butter on top, sprinkle more spice seasoning
- Bake 375 degrees for 15 minutes
