They not only are super cute for brunch at home but imagine how cute they would be at your child’s school party!
TIPS/ TRICKS FOR BAKING MUMMY POP TARTS:
- When choosing cookie cutter keep in mind the size will determine how much filling you can add. If you like a lot go for a larger size!
- Don’t forget to poke holes on top piece! You can either do it when you apply piece or before.
- If you do not let the pop tart cool totally before adding frosting it will be to runny and not stick properly.
- Adding multiple layers of frosting for the mummy bandages gives good depth. I suggest doing them all, letting sit for a couple minutes and doing another coat.
- Don’t overthink it! This is a very easy recipe- you cant mess it up! The silly eyes really make everything look adorable!
